Huntington Library Update

Hi Everyone,
Found some INCREDIBLE materials at HL in the Solano Reeves Collection. I think it will be really useful. Also found some good sources for the Harrington Field notes at CSUN and the Braun Library, not so useful for this project, but very useful for the LA River.

LMU

Hi Everyone,
We just finished up collecting data at LMU. It was a pretty good experience. On our last day, LAST box we found some really great maps. They had mostly genealogical information on the Machados, but we did find some really great photos as well.

Los Angeles Central Library

We've had a good couple of days at the Los Angeles Central Library. Thanks to Glen Creason the map librarian (and soon to be author on a book about maps of Los Angeles County). We found some good copies of maps, but the originals are at Huntington so we will check them out there before entering them into the MDC. We also found some good photos and book citations as well.

Huntington Library

Hi Everyone,
Jessica has started collecting at the Huntington Library! She and I will both be there on Friday, Dec 4th. We'd love to have Travis and Nick join us. At the moment she and I have worked out a system of what items to pull. Since we are all assigned to the Huntington, before you go let me know and we can figure out where you should start.
